A small family firm located in the heart of Istria, only a kilometre from the main Pula – Pazin road surrounded by pastures, at the hill above the village of Orbanici has been producing high-quality dairy products based on its own cows’ milk since the end of the last century and other farmers’ milk from all over Istria for the last ten years.
Following the trends in the dairy production the Latus dairy has been investing a great deal in its development and growth, although the base remains constantly the same, that is, tradition, nature and family.
The way in which the grandmother Santina used to produce cheese, convinced that the dairy products were produced solely of milk, a dozen diligent hands have been producing up to 10 000 liters of milk every day.
