This enterprise has been created by Cossetto family where three generations work together, and every new generation continues the tradition of agricultural production, cultivating the soil and living from it. Agriculture has always fed this family and wine had the main role in that story, because in this region without a drop of good wine after a hard day's work, life was inconceivable.

 

So the primary business activities of Cossetto family are viticulture and enology. Seventeen acres of vineyard located on the top positions, on the red soil, facing the south, southeast and southwest, at 150 to 200 meters altitude. Because of a limited surface of plantations, they are oriented to producing high-quality wines for a particular market and wine connoisseurs.

The basic shape of Cossetto family activity is the production of wines based on indigenous Istrian varieties Malvasia, Teran and Borgonja, but also world-known varieties that supplement the palette such as Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Muscat blanc.
